Find one of our festive parcels hidden around campus and share a picture of your find tagging @newcastleuni on Instagram or @UniofNewcastle for your chance to win. 

Each parcel contains a vegan sweet mix and vegan hot chocolate with marshmallows.

•    Open to UK residents only, excluding Newcastle University employees, their families and agents or anyone connected with the draw
•    The prize is an Eldon Square voucher worth £50
•    To enter simply share a photo of your sweets on Instagram or Twitter and tag Newcastle University. Instagram @newcastleuni Twitter: @UniofNewcastle
•    Entry will close at midnight on Tuesday 13th December 2022
•    A winner will be drawn at random and announced on Twitter and Instagram on Wednesday 14th December 2022
•    Only one entry via Instagram or Twitter per person will be accepted 
•    You must be at least 18 years of age to enter
•    An independent person will make the draw. The decision is final based on the criteria set out and no correspondence will be entered into over this decision.
•    Responsibility cannot be accepted for loss of delayed entries due to internet or server problems.
•    All entries will become the property of the Promoter. Entries may be quoted for further promotion across Newcastle University’s social channels, blog and website.
•    In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value at the Promoter’s discretion.
•    No cash alternative will be offered in whole or part in exchange for the prize.

Vegan Festive Parcel Contents Ingredients

VEGAN MINI MARSHMALLOWS

Ingredients:

Glucose-fructose syrup, sugar, water, dextrose. Gelling agent carrageenan, maize starch, Hydrolized rice protein, stabiliser: polyphosphate, flavouring: natural vanilla flavour with other natural flavours, colour: Titanium dioxide, red beetroot

Suitable for a vegan diet, Halal and Kosher suitable, and free from gelatine, gluten, egg, dairy, soy, nuts/tree nuts, and GMOs

CADBURY DRINKING HOT CHOCOLATE

Sugar, Cocoa Powder, Acidity Regulator (Potassium Carbonates), Flavouring, Cocoa Solids: 25 % minimum

Suitable for Vegetarians, May Contain Milk

Preparation Instructions (with 200 ml semi-skimmed milk):

Swirl three heaped teaspoons of Cadbury Drinking Chocolate into a mug of hot semi-skimmed milk and stir. Alternatively, mix the powder with cold semi-skimmed milk in a microwaveable mug and heat in a 800 W microwave on high for 1 min, stir then microwave for a further 30 sec. Stir before drinking.

 

VEGAN SWEET MIX

Ingredients:

Sugar, Syrups (Glucose (SULPHITES), Fructose, Caramel), Starch (WHEAT flour, Corn, Modified Maize, Maize, Modified Potato, Modified Tapioca), Water, Potato Protein, Acids (Citric, Lactic, Malic),. Fruit and Vegetable Concentrates (Black Carrot, Carrot, Spirulina, Safflower, Grape, Apple, Pear, Hibiscus, Blackcurrant), Flavourings, Vegetable Oil (Coconut), Acidity Regulators (E331, E350,.
