Every year, we look forward to the Christmas market arriving in town! Shop these small businesses for Newcastle-themed gifts, jewellery, accessories, and more. Plus, expect to see your favourite Newcastle food companies (Pablo Eggs Go Bao, Parm-o-rama, Acropolis, The Brownie Bar- to name a few!) and grab a pint in Moosenwirt alpine pop-up village.

Located a stone’s throw from the Quayside, at the bottom of Dog Leap Stairs, is UpSide Down Presents, a fabulous Newcastle-themed gift shop. Something is bound to catch your eye whether you are from the Toon or beyond! Upside Down stocks North East-themed trinkets, gifts and cards by various artists.
Here is what I picked up on my visit: a postcard and magnet for my fridge, plus this booklet for my visiting friend!
This magical treasure trove is inside Eldon Square (near John Lewis). The Geordie Witch offers crystals, wax melts, books, incense and more - perfect for your witchy pals!
I don’t know about you, but visiting the Fenwick Christmas floor is an absolute staple for me every year. With its beautiful displays, shopping at Fenwick always feels like a luxurious experience! I may be biased, but my favourite products this year have to be the Geordie-themed gifts (Christmas decorations, cards, cushions, tea towels and more).
Finally, let’s browse another iconic Newcastle shopping location: Grainger Market. Hop off the Metro at Monument and get ready to wander the alleys of small businesses selling an array of items, from vintage clothes to music merch. Plus, there are plenty of food vendors at the market if you fancy stopping for lunch!
