In this talk, the pioneer of queer Holocaust history, Anna Hájková, explores the importance of same-sex desire among Holocaust victims in the Shoah. She explores love, sexual barter, as well as sexual violence, and examines how it came to be that this history remains one that carries a stigma in 2022.
Join the virtual lecture on 2nd February, 3-4pm.

Insights lecture with E-J Scott
E-J Scott is a curator, cultural producer and academic, and winner of the UK’s Activist Museum Award 2020/21. Their interventive curatorial methodologies include arts participation as hyper-localised occupation, community-led collecting as direct museological action, and the queering of digital borders. E-J is the founder of the British Digital Art Network, the UK’s first national curatorial, academic, and artist network to collectively interrogate the impact of the field on the UK art world.
Watch live online on 18th February at 5:30 pm here.

Student Support Services
Being a student, whoever you are, can be very challenging at times, whether you are finding it hard keeping to deadlines, missing home, or struggling with budgeting. Alongside these worries, we understand that LGBTQ+ students can potentially face additional challenges. If you're a student who wishes to seek support and/or advice surrounding gender, sexuality, and beyond, our Wellbeing Team has a range of support services available to all students.
For those interested, resources provided by our Student Health and Wellbeing Services can be found here and the LGBTQ+ Student Hub designed by our Students' Union can also be found here.
