Welcome David!
Hi, I’m David! I’m a 3rd-year Economics & Finance student with a passion for entrepreneurship, business, and innovation. I’m also the Founder & President of the Entrepreneurship Society, where I bring together like-minded students through events, workshops, and networking opportunities.
My goal after graduation is to start my own business, building on my experience of running student-led ventures and leading entrepreneurial initiatives. I’m especially interested in real estate and cryptocurrency, specifically in how they are shaping the future of business and investment.
I’m excited to be part of START UP and looking forward to contributing to the entrepreneurship community at Newcastle University!

Hey! I am Dora and am one of the START UP Ambassadors this year! I am studying on the BA Architecture programme at Newcastle University and I am very excited to work with the START UP team bringing my creative background and experience.
I am very passionate about photography and I see it as a great tool to explore the world around us. Photography encourages me to carefully observe the environment and see the world from different perspectives. I love this interactive process of learning which reveals a lot of details that are often overlooked. Therefore, every time I tell a story, most of the time I will have some photographs to support it, but can spend ages finding it...

Hello everyone, my name is Melodi, and I’m a third-year Business student at Newcastle University. I’d describe myself as an open, extroverted person who isn’t afraid to take any risks. I’m incredibly passionate about (solo) traveling and have been fortunate to visit nearly 30 countries so far. My ultimate goal is to see and explore every country in the world!
Traveling has profoundly shaped me, helping me embrace new cultures, perspectives, and experiences that continue to influence my personal growth. I’ve learned that the memories you create and the friends you make on your trips will last a lifetime, and for that reason, I never say no to a trip, no matter how chaotic or last-minute it might be.
