Get the opportunity to see a wide array of different puppetry shows, workshops, talks and films suitable for everyone to watch across various locations across Newcastle! There’re loads of things to do from “Puppet Valley” to “Beasts on the Street”, so whether you are a fan of art or have no clue about puppetry at all… There’s something for you!

Newcastle Vegan Market- 20 April
Need your street market fix? Why not spice it up this month, as the Vegan Market takes over Grainger Street this month in Newcastle. Come along to Grainger Street to get a taste of various vegan street-foods, craft beers and pastries and breads from artisan bakers! Even if you’re not peckish, there is still loads on offer from small batch soapers, local artists and much more!

Cherry Blossom at Alnwick Garden- end of April
Have you been wanting to see cherry blossom but don’t fancy the trip to Japan? Well, head off to The Alnwick Garden to visit the largest ‘Taihaku’ Cherry Orchard in the world! The trees generally blossom for two weeks at the end of April/start of May!
It’s a must see for those who haven’t seen it before!
