Get back into the swing of things this February as we finish exam season and celebrate Lunar New Year! 

Lunar New Year 

Dragon at Lunar New YearJoin in on the Lunar New Year action as we set up to usher in the Year of the Dragon. The festival will be centred around Stowell Street, where you will be able to get involved in lots of different activities. There will be lots to do, from watching the Dragon dance, writing Chinese calligraphy, to eating at one of the many Chinatown restaurants. It is sure to be great! 

The event will start on Sunday 11 February, starting at 11am. The organisers are remaining tight lipped until closer to the date so watch out on Chinatown Newcastle’s Facebook page for updates! 

Freebie Fair, Students' Union

Missed out on the freebies last term? Do not fret! On Tuesday 13 February from 10am to 4pm, the Freebie Fair is returning! Drop by the Students' Union for spin-to-win prizes, free food, vouchers and more! Who doesn’t like free stuff?

St James’ Park Stadium Tour

Are you a football fan? Then come along for a tour of Newcastle United’s Stadium! Gain exclusive all areas access led by a tour guide of the grounds, from the pitch and dug outs, to the players changing rooms, where you can find your favourite players' spot!
