March 1st marks the start of our third Enrichment Week of the academic year. Find out more about the different ways to get involved below
Enrichment Week
Engage with a range of digital, employability and life skills training through presentations, discussions and activities, all centred around the theme of Lifelong Learning.
Shaping Futures
Shaping Futures is a mixture of events from the University, NUSU Sabbatical Officers, guest speakers and student-led societies which will form a part of our Enrichment Week activities. The campaign is largely inspired by the UN Sustainable Development Goals and focusses on NUSU’s own climate commitments. It also features conversations on race and climate, working-class experiences of higher education and Decolonising NCL.
Creative Careers
The creative sector covers a huge range of roles and talent, from TV and music, to heritage, arts, marketing and beyond. Join @nclcareers on social media 1-5 March to hear from local and national creative professionals covering a variety of topics such as the effect of the pandemic on the creative industries, top tips on graduating into a challenging labour market, networking for opportunities, and stories from those who have started businesses during a national lockdown.
