Looking for things to do over the Winter Break? Check out these amazing festive events!

We're also hosting a mix of virtual events throughout the break - be sure to check them out!

Ice-Skating

There are plenty of Ice-skating rinks popping up around the capital this year and bigger than ever to encourage social distancing. South London's only outdoor ice rink is back in the gorgeous surroundings of Queen's House in Greenwich. If you want to get out of central London, Hampton Court Palace and Alexandra Palace ice rinks are also back throughout December.

Winter Pop Ups

During these cold evenings in December, there are plenty of Winter Pop Ups throughout the city to provide you with plenty of food and drink as well as gift stalls for those last minute Christmas presents. You can find Winter pop ups outside City Hall as well as along the Southbank and even behind Selfridges.

Take a Stroll

If you are looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the streets of London, why not take a stroll through one of the eight Royal Parks in London. Or for that extra bit of Christmas magic, why not take a stroll through Richmond Park to see the many deer which roam there.

Christmas Lights

It wouldn’t be Christmas in London without a trip to see the amazing Christmas Lights lighting up the streets in the capital. Grab a hot chocolate and take a walk down Oxford Street, Regents Street, Carnaby Street and event along the river and take in the amazing spectacle of the world-famous lights (and perfect photo opportunities!).
