Bringing together several fantastic guest speakers, including Chi Onwurah, Labour MP for Newcastle upon Tyne Central, and SAgE Pro Vice-Chancellor, Professor Stephanie Glendinning, this thought-provoking online event is not to be missed.
On March 8th, we're bringing together inspirational Newcastle University women to discuss how they have navigated bias and stereotypes in their fields. This will include Katy Storie, our Director of Sport, and previously an England rugby player, who will share her experience of getting into rugby, body positivity and being labelled as 'different'.
